I have been on a bit of a personal quest for the last 6 months to basically try new forms of psychoactive/psychedelic experiences that I haven’t tired in the past. I am probably twice as old as most members of Neurosoup and therefore out of the loop of what has been going on. With that in mind, I have consciously been veering towards more natural “power plants” as my preferred technological methods of inner space research. A big consideration for that is that most tend to be perfectly legal, which for me is a big deal, if for no other reason that they are easily obtainable here on the Internet. So in that vein, I came across a really pleasant experience with dried Blue Lotus flowers. Now grant you, if your looking to get wasted on Blue Lotus, then forget about it. But as a new experience that is also very ancient, it is definitely worth a try. Especially for the females out there. It seems to lend itself very nicely to a woman’s sensuality. Blue Lotus was used, as it turns out, to really significant proportions of Ancient Egypt. The more research I did on Blue Lotus, the more I have seen that they basically built their whole society around the sacrament of this entheogen.
Blue Lotus is generally regarded as a Sedative/Euphoriant. 5 to 10 gms will give you a “hypnotic sedative” effect (sort of like the Cannabis of ancient Egypt). Actually, it is a pretty good sedative with a mild, opiod like feeling.
The first time that I smoked it, I immediately intuitively felt the spiritual essence of ancient Egypt. I was on my back porch. It was around August, and I really felt super mellow just watching the sun glistening off of the bushes in my backyard. The colors seemed more vivid. The greens were greener and the sun was brighter and all were more vivid and I felt like I was lucid dreaming in the kingdom of heaven. That’s how it felt. It felt that I was just transported to the Garden of Earthly Delights. I felt more radiant and felt more erotic, and yet also very mellow at the same time. Not high per say, but hypnotically serene.
It is totally legal to buy, sell and use, and it is very inexpensive on ebay. I recommend this herb for enhancing couples sexual experiences. It was worth the investigation. I went through my ounce bag and will be getting more.
